The Valpo bowling team was honored as a National Tenpin Coaches Association (NTCA) All-Academic Scholar Team for its collective success in the classroom, while six Beacons were recognized as NTCA All-Academic Scholar-Athletes.
 
As a team, the Beacons posted a 3.338 cumulative GPA for the 2024-25 academic year to earn All-Academic Scholar Team honors. 49 teams received such recognition from the NTCA this year, which requires a minimum team GPA of 3.2 for the year.
 
Individually, graduated senior Lilu Smith earned recognition for a third straight year, while rising juniors Payton Rowley and Maia Struble received the honor for a second straight season. They were joined by rising senior Peytin Brake, rising junior Angela Webber and rising sophomore Rochelle Ferris.
