Thanks to the generosity of supporters and fans, the Valparaiso University Department of Athletics elevated its fundraising and revenue-generation success during the 2024-2025 academic year, boasting notable increases in all aspects of revenue generation.
 
Valpo Athletics exceeded its revenue goals and achieved significant year-over-year growth in critical revenue-generation categories in 2024-2025, including tickets, sponsorships and fundraising.
 
The department enjoyed a 40 percent increase in sponsorship revenue, a 27 percent increase in gameday revenue (i.e. tickets, parking, hospitality, concessions) and a nine percent jump in fundraising. Overall, Valpo Athletics increased its revenue generation by 15 percent in 2024-2025.
 
The sponsorship success included inking the largest corporate sponsorship agreement in Valpo Athletics history with UChicago Medicine.
 
Over 1,000 donors made gifts to Valpo Athletics, a critical milestone in building the philanthropic support needed to provide transformational experiences for student-athletes. Almost 400 new donors made contributions to athletics on Valpo Day alone. The final count of athletics supporters on Valpo Day exceeded $230,000 thanks to generous alumni, family and friends from 38 states and three countries. The efforts of the department's coaches and student-athletes helped Valpo Athletics lead the way for the University, creating 40 lead-up and day-of Valpo Day activities.

"We continue to invest in our staff and support systems to ensure we are maximizing all of our revenue generation efforts and the opportunity to provide top-notch experiences to everyone we encounter. Your continued support is paramount in our ability to realize the success our student-athletes, campus community, alumni and fans are invested in as we shape the future of Valpo Athletics."
