Thoughts from Head Coach Dave Gring
"After a four-month break from competition and no practices on grass turf since the first of the year, it was good to get our spring season started. Despite our struggles with consistency and execution, there were still a lot of quality shots and the guys stayed poised throughout the tournament. One of the great things about competition is it always tells us exactly what we need to work on in preparation for our next tournament."

"We will be spending more time over the next two weeks working on our driving accuracy. We missed a lot of fairways and that translates to missing more greens in regulation. Our birdie production was very low, so we will be working on wedge proximity and better overall accuracy with our irons. I was pleased to see a good number of putts from five to eight feet that we made this tournament. Overall, tempo and green reading was good with our putting. Now it's time to get back to work."
