Former Horizon League adversary Milwaukee will provide the opposition for a midweek matchup.
Last Time Out: The Beacons lost two of three this past weekend at defending MVC Tournament champion Evansville, rallying to win the middle game 11-6 and coming back to tie the rubber match before falling 5-4 on a walk-off home run on Sunday.
Harry Deliyannis delivered a strong start and picked up the win on Saturday, allowing two earned runs (four total) on nine hits while striking out six and walking none in eight innings. Valpo was hitless until the fifth and trailed 4-0 through five, but a six-run sixth turned the game on its head. The Beacons dropped the series opener 7-3. The Brown & Gold battled from 3-0 down in Sunday's rubber match, tying the game on a double by
Case Sullivan in the ninth only to lose 5-4 on a walk-off home run by pinch hitter Matt Flaherty.
