The Valparaiso University Esports program is set to begin year three of competition in the Missouri Valley Conference. The league will be sponsoring competition in four titles this Spring: Valorant, Super Smash Bros, Rocket League, and Overwatch 2. Conference play begins 1/21 as the Valparaiso Super Smash Bros team takes on Indiana State University, live on Twitch at 6 p.m. CT.

Overwatch 2
During 2025 MVC play, Valparaiso finished as the runner up falling to Missouri State University in a best of 7 in the conference championship game. Led by Head Coach
Bryce Jones and senior captain
Ben Zaweski, Valparaiso is expected to compete towards the top of the league standings.
Rocket League
During the 2025 MVC regular season, Valparaiso finished as the 3rd seed heading into the conference championship. Led by Senior
Joshua Cronin and Head Coach
Thomas Hohnholt, the Rocket League team will look to build on last year's success.
Super Smash Bros.
During 2025 MVC play, Valparaiso finished as the 5 seed in the regular season and made its way to the upper bracket semi-finals in the conference championship before falling to eventual runner up, Illinois State University. Led by sophomore captain
Dylan Bulla and a variety of newcomers, Valparaiso will be a mystery team heading into regular season play.
Valorant
During 2025 MVC play, Valparaiso did not qualify for the conference championship tournament. With another year under their belt, led by sophomore
Johann Farley, the Valorant team looks to secure their first ever spot in the conference tournament this Spring.
