Tuesday's scheduled Valparaiso University baseball game vs. Ball State at Emory G. Bauer Field has been canceled due to winter-like weather interfering with the slated home opener.
 
In addition, this weekend's conference-opening series against Murray State has been moved to Evansville, Ind. due to ongoing field renovations at Murray State. The Beacons and Racers will begin the series at 3 p.m. on Friday at Charles H. Braun Stadium in Evansville.
