One of the most proficient goal scorers in school history, Emily King led the Valparaiso University soccer program to the NCAA Tournament for the first time in 2005.

A four-time All Mid-Continent Conference selection, including twice named to the league’s First Team, King ranks second all-time at Valpo with 21 career goals and 52 career points.

A two-time member of the Mid-Con All-Tournament Team, she was named the tournament’s Most Valuable Player in 2005 after leading the Brown and Gold to its first league championship.

A two-time team captain, King shares Valpo’s single season scoring record with 11 goals and is tops all-time with 27 points, both set in 2005.  King also ranks among the top career numbers for shots (third with 180), assists (fourth with 10), and match-winning goals (second with seven).
